Poison Idea has always been here to fuck you up, pure and simple. They’re not interested in polishing up their act because not being in a gnarly punk band is not an option for them, they’ve tried, and failed to walk away. A lot of bands these days mistake snotty antics for attitude, but attitude is carved from granite, through trials and failures. P.I. also rips a killer cover of the 13th Floor Elevators, “You’re Gonna Miss Me”.
Rovsvett ("Ass Sweat" in Swedish) have been around almost as long as Poison Idea. They drop three tracks of Swedish hardcore done right. From their beginning in 1983 until now, they still have what it takes to blast some hardcore punk that gets repeated listens. Great split!
