RAZORBLADES AND ASPIRIN Issue #11
Former MRR shitworker, lifetime punk and longtime Dropdead friend Mike Thorn has poured his heart and energy into creating a hardcore/punk fanzine worthy of our times.
Great photography, above average interviews, and laid out beautifully.
Completely classy and classic.
WE HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF COPIES, A FEW WILL HAVE THE LATHE CUT RECORD. WE WILL MIX THEM IN AT RANDOM. DON'T ASK JUST FOR THAT VERSION. WE WILL PULL THEM BLINDLY FOR ORDERS.
500 Copies • 8.5X11 FULL COLOR • 80 pgs
Released December 2020
UPDATE: First 30 orders will come with a seven inch lathe cut DROPDEAD record of the previously unreleased song "Prison." I'm beyond stoked to be able to include this!
This time around we'll be featuring interviews with California hardcore legends INFEST, the best live band I've ever seen aka Bogota's MURO, Richmond's own melodious noise mavens SENSUAL WORLD, SOLARIZED vocalist and Afrofuturist author ALEX SMITH, Oakland's melodic hardcore mavens TUNING, and finally CVLTNATION founders Sean Reveron & Meghan MacRae. Of course, the first love of this zine is photography and in this issue we'll be featuring features on photographers VERA VELMA (Texas), JOE CALIXTO (Los Angeles), ALEX KRESS (Toronto), & MYRON FUNG (SF Bay Area). And as usual the issue will be rounded out with my own images plus reviews of records, books & zines from around the globe.
