The 3rd album of EXCEL, is finally reissued! EXCEL,were one of the most important bands in the Venice hardcore scene along with Suicidal Tendencies, Beowülf and No Mercy.
A special edition of all 18 songs that is very important as a band archive, with additional live recordings from 1993 and as additional bonus tracks the live show from 1999, which was the last live set before the reunion many years later, including a CRUCIFIX cover.
Due to the rarity of the original album, there are many people who have not checked out this 3rd album. It was released in 1995 and was the follow-up to their critically acclaimed album The Joke's on You (1989). Some of the material on this album was originally recorded as early as 1991 while Excel began writing The Joke's on You's follow-up. Due to members being involved in their own activities at the time, Seeking Refuge was set aside for a number of years before finally being completed in 1995. The band shows quite a change in musical style with a stoner metal sound. It is also the only Excel album not recorded with their "classic" line-up.
