MOTORHEAD "Motorhead" LP

MOTORHEAD "Motorhead" LP

Essential reissue of their 1977 album!!

Euro Import, LP on White vinyl housed in a heavy board sleeve with foil stamped cover.

The story is legend now, but this album almost didn't get made. This was a re-recording of most of the tracks from On Parole - an album the band had previously recorded for United Artists Records which was, at the time, hanging unreleased in limbo. Ted Carroll of Chiswick Records, offered the boys time in the studio to record a single. Instead they blasted out 13 tracks in 2 days, which impressed Carroll enough to let them finish an entire album for release: the eponymous Motorhead. And the rest is history.
